Product Profile
The detuned reactor is also referred to as series reactor, which is applied in the reactive power compensation. Because of its electro-magic patibility in power frequency, it is generally used together with capacitance in series so as to prevent the parallel resonance as well as non amplification harmonic current. Besides, it is also used to restrain the higher harmonic, limit the operating impulse and improve the power factor of the system. Furthermore, this detuned reactor can also be used to prevent the harm and damage caused by harmonic capacitor and to avoid the excessive amplification of the harmonic in the power grid caused by the joining up of the capacitor device and the occurrence of resonance.

Features
Detuned reactor is safe and reliable due to high heat insulation level and dielectric strength. With the core made of grain-oriented cold rolled silicon steel sheets, the reactor boasts excellent high frequency performance and low core loss. Designed with low magnetic flux density, the reactor is of high linearity, powerful overload capacity. VPI process makes the reactor fully immersed in oil and the oil film thicker, which contributes to the low noise and excellent corrosion resistance of the products.
